1. The Dhobi Ghana at Fort Cochin

Facilities for steaming, washing, drying, ironing of clothes and shop rooms for collection and disposal of clothes has been constructed fully by GCDA and handed over to the dhobis Co-operative Society. Nearly 120 Dhobi families work in the centre.

VISION _ 2030 KOCHI, Work shop was held at Kochi during August 2012 and the work shop has discussed the problems and potential of Kochi. The New development   initiatives of the Authority were also presented in the work shop and most important ones are discussed below.
