EXHIBITION CUM CONVENTION CENTRE AT MANAPATTIPARAMBU

Proposal is for construction of exhibition cum convention centre in the land owned by GCDA at Kaloor DTP scheme.  Steps were taken to implement the project in PPP mode by inviting RFP  and later by executing lease deed but due to various technical difficulties it was dropped  and  EC decision was taken  to implement the project using GCDA fund in the 210 cents of land. The building plan has been prepared and submitted to Kochi Corporation on 20.01.2020. A new preliminary feasibility report for project has been submitted to the Govt. and approval is pending.  As per the G.O.(Rt)No.761/1999/LAD, dtd 03.03.1999 the scheme map was prepared and the sanction was still pending from the Govt. Under this circumstances authority forwarded a request to the Govt. on 10.03.2020 showing details for variation of the scheme. Further steps can only be taken after getting administrative sanction and approval of revised scheme map from the Govt.
